Experience in burn treatment at DMC

The incident was occurred on 09.04.14, 11.30 a.m. my daughter enter her right hand in boiled hot water. After 3-5 minutes soaking the burn area with normal water for 10-15 minutes then we went to National Institute of Burn & Plastic Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital treated as OPD patient.

16.04.14	Dressing open & again dressing with renodruum. Medicine: Same as before Follow up date: 23.04.14	Antibiotic not taken orally,we inform to Dr.& request to inject but they neglect it.
23.04.14	Dressing open & again dressing with povisep water. Medicine: Same as before Follow up date: 30.04.14	At the time of dressing her upper limb hit my face & start too much bleeding.
27.04.14	Dr. informed us that upper limb are infected & admitted in Hospital Dressing done with kollagen sheet & kollagen dust	Dressing soaked with blood so we arrived hospital before follow up date. Antibiotic injection push instead of syrap
03.05.14	Dressing open & again dressing with kollagen dust. Few improvement seen but infection still exist. Dr. suggest us to prepare skin grafting.	Antibiotic injection (Traxon 250 mg) same as before.
10.05.14	STSG operation done in right hand & wrist	Antibiotic injection (Traxon 500 mg)
17.05.14	Wound dressing was done.40% sight loss in the hand due to infection. Expand dressing done with bitadin ointment.	Antibiotic injection change (Fulspec  500 mg, Generic Name: Meropenem)
25.05.14	Dressing was done with betadin ointment	Antibiotic injection  same as before.
31.05.14	Stitches off & informed us loss are recovered & no loss in skin grafting.	Splint applied in the right hand & advice to exercise in hand.
01.06.14	Discharge from Hospital

Present Condition:

We continue to exercise in hand (Message) & gradually improving in grip some light object but she cannot fist due to swollen fingers. Four fingers in right hand are swollen than normal appearance. Skin is not smooth. Space between two fingers is short & lengths of fingers are small.
