Experience in burn treatment at DMC



The incident was occurred on 09.04.14, 11.30 a.m. my daughter enter her right hand in boiled hot water. After 3-5 minutes soaking the burn area with normal water for 10-15 minutes then we went to National Institute of Burn & Plastic Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital treated as OPD patient.

Measure 9% scald, Hand & fore arm dressing with renodrum, medicine: antibiotic  syp. Rofixim, anti histamine syp- antista.

Discharge from Hospital


Present Condition:
We continue to exercise in hand (Message) & gradually improving in grip some light object but she cannot fist due to swollen fingers. Four fingers in right hand are swollen than normal appearance. Skin is not smooth. Space between two fingers is short & lengths of fingers are small.
